New service offer: Bespoke Report Themes

Design your own Bespoke Report Themes as an add-on to Local Insight.

The new and improved Reports functionality within Local Insight allows you to generate comprehensive area profiles across a range of key socio-economic themes. 

We are excited to launch a new service that offers more flexibility when using Reports, the opportunity to design your own Report themes that are fully integrated into Local Insight and can be used for any-sized area that you’re interested in, time and time again – a bespoke service at off-the-shelf prices.

We’ll work with you to build Report Themes that feature the datasets that are most important to you and your organisation, visualised in the way that suits you best. For example, you could use this service to:

• Understand change over time with a “historic trend” theme
• Focus in on a niche topic such as food vulnerability
• Explore key indicators to help identify priority areas

These custom Reports Themes can then be accessed and referenced as often as needed, and easily downloaded as Word documents for sharing with external stakeholders.

What does this service include?

This is an optional add-on to a Local Insight subscription, with prices dependent upon your requirements. We’ll work with you to design up to 5 different Report Themes.

Each Bespoke Theme you design can include up to 6 data visualisations. These include:

• Tables
• Bar charts
• Line charts

Each of these visualisations can potentially include multiple indicators within them. For example, this data table below includes 6 indicators. 

These bespoke Report themes will appear alongside the pre-existing Report themes in the platform.

Designing your Bespoke Report Theme

There are two options for designing your own Bespoke Report Theme.

Option 1: Tell us the topics you’re interested in and our expert team will curate your Report Theme for you: We will select the most relevant indicators to include on your chosen topic and work with you to ensure it matches your needs.

Option 2: Provide us with the indicators and visualisations you would like included from over 1,500 indicators available within Local Insight, and we’ll work with you to create the Report theme that best suits your needs.

You can include any of the standard indicators that are available within the Local Insight platform, as well as historical timepoints you wouldn’t normally be able to access.
