Share your view directly from the Map screen

We’ve introduced a new feature to Local Insight – a Share button that allows you to directly link others to a preloaded Map.

Zoom into an area of interest, load up any combination of your Services, Custom Areas, and/or an indicator, and then click the button to generate a link to share your map with someone else.

We’ve created a link to show you just how the new feature works on our Example Public Site.

This link can be used by any other members of your organisation that have a Local Insight log-in, in the same way that the ‘Share Reports’ feature currently works. 

For those with the Public Site add-on, generated links can be shared with anyone at all – allowing you to send external stakeholders links to relevant, pre-loaded maps.
